The typical size around here is more like 16 x 24. We just finished one that size up last fall, a real beauty that has a solid roof with skylights. But we could certainly have done it with a glass roof, had the customer wanted that.”

Then comes the proper foundation, and—if your experience with footings involves someone digging a deep hole and pouring concrete—you’re in for a treat. HV Sunrooms uses helical piles, which resemble giant screws that are drilled into the ground and are more efficient in terms of time and labor and more secure than old-school concrete ones. Helical piles don’t shift or sink, meaning your foundation will stay level and true.
