First we find the freshest locally grown strawberries and basil. (Check out Dressel Farms for pick your own strawberries)
Then we trim the tops off of the strawberries.
We blend the strawberries until they are smooth.
We add the basil to simple syrup and steep to infuse the basil flavor, and we strain the simple syrup.
Then we mix the strawberry puree and the simple syrup together, and stir well to combine.
Into the machine it goes to spin.
It spins for approximately 45 mins.
Once it's ready, we scoop and serve!
