Known for their superior cocktails, gorgeous décor, and fine dining that is both globally and locally inspired, A&P Bar in Woodstock is the go-to spot for good fare and good times. Stop in this summer for a refreshing, masterfully crafted drink, along with some light “tidbits” or some serious comfort food.

Then bring that inspiration home with you and invite some friends over for dinner on the patio, A&P style, complete with stylish cocktails and a summery pasta dish.

BLACK NEGRONI

1 oz red wine
1 oz gin
1 oz amaro
Dehydrated orange slice

spaghetti puttanesca with wild shrimp

Ingredients:3 oz capers
4 oz extra virgin olive oil
3 oz sliced garlic
4 oz kalamata olives
2 oz red wine
40 oz San Marzano peeled whole plum tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
Wild shrimp, peeled and deveined (heads and tails on)
Fresh chopped parsley (garnish)

Directions:Start with oil and garlic on medium-high heat and cook garlic until blonde/light brown. Add capers, olives, and tomatoes and simmer 25 to 30 minutes at medium heat. When the tomatoes get soft, use a spoon to smash them until the sauce seems fairly smooth. Add wine and cook 35 minutes. Add shrimp and cook 3 to 5 minutes more, until shrimp is translucent. Add sauce to spaghetti and serve. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
