Harvest the Hudson, September 14-30, 2026: Your card for this event gives you 17 days to visit participating wineries for an in-depth, interactive close-up. Learn the winery’s lore, get a close look at their technique and terroir, and earn rewards by shopping as part of the Harvest the Hudson promotion.
Holiday Fineries at the Wineries, November 21-22, December 5-6, December 12, 2026: Wineries will be decked out for the season on these weekends, brimming with good cheer and eager to welcome you to what’s been called “the Hudson Valley’s Coziest Holiday Tradition” with themed tasting flights and complimentary keepsakes.
Sip & Shop Holiday Market, December 13, 2026: Hosted by City Winery Hudson Valley in Montgomery, Sip & Shop will be a day full of live music and enticing food while browsing the curated wares of local vendors of handmade art, food, and ornaments. Admission is free, but a wine tasting ticket gives you a variety of free tastings from an array of Shawangunk Wine Trail wineries and the ability to purchase a few bottles or a case of your favorite.

Angry Orchard has built a national brand from its unique Cider House in Walden, where you’ll find exceptional hospitality and fun, inclusive educational experiences. Applewood Winery in Warwick makes tasty International Red, Riesling, Chardonnay, and blackberry wine, and much more, including their Naked Flock Cider. (We hear the new Lemon Ginger Cider tastes like summertime in a can.) Benmarl Winery in Marlboro—whose owners are proud producers of small-batch deliciousness—is home to the oldest vineyard in America and holds New York Farm Winery License No. 1. Brotherhood Winery in Washingtonville is a beverage epic. Its first commercial vintage was released in 1839, it survived Prohibition by producing wine for medicinal and sacramental purposes, and artfully made wines still age in huge oaken casks in dimly lit cellars. Christopher Jacobs Winery at Pennings Vineyard in Pine Bush, at the southernmost tip of the Shawangunk Mountains Scenic Byway, planted their first grapes in 2006 and opened their farm winery in 2015; a visit here takes you off the beaten tourist track to a whole ’nother corner of our countryside. Magnanini Winery in Wallkill loves hosting big six-course family-style dinners: there’s one for Oktoberfest on October 4th, a Pumpkin Ravioli Party on October 11th, a Lasagna Party on October 25th, a Thanksgiving celebration on November 26th, and a Christmas Party on December 13th. Robibero Winery in New Paltz is a passion project for Harry and Carole Robibero,who purchased this 42-acre vineyard in 2003. There was a winery there, and Harry was fascinated; his grandfather had made outstanding wines, and when the existing winery relocated, Robibero was born in its place. Stoutridge Distillery & Winery in Marlboro has been crafting small-batch spirits and natural wines from local ingredients since 2000 on land tucked away beside a grand limestone ridge where grapes have been grown since the late 1700s. Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery in Warwick is the oldest cidery in New York State; they’ve been making cider from real fruit since long before it trended, creating their Doc’s Cider brand in 1994, adding a locally sourced, scratch-made café back in 1998, and launching their American Fruits line of brandies, liqueurs, and cordials in 2001, when they became the first craft distillery in New York since Prohibition. Whitecliff Vineyard & Winery in Gardiner is a 30-year passion project created by a couple deeply dedicated to sustainability, environmentalism, and great vegan wines.
