’Tis the season of celebration, and how we love a celebration! Happily, the Hudson Valley and the Catskills have an abundance of everything you need, from the perfect ingredients (or caterers) to wonderful locations. Thanks to our amazing craft beverage creators, we also have superb libations perfect for making merry.
Our dear friends at Union Grove Distillery and Jar’d Wine Pub have graciously agreed to share some favorite holiday cocktail creations with us. So, Dear Reader, here are some inspirations for crafting a wonderful holiday drink, Catskills style.
Of course, you can always pay these good folks a call and let them apply their magic touch for you. A trip to either Arkville or New Paltz is its own reward; a truly delicious beverage is the cherry on top of a fun-day.

mistletoe martini
Serves 1
ingredients
• 2.5 oz Vly Creek Vodka
• 0.5 oz Cranberry/rosemary simple syrup
• Red-colored sugar
• White sugar
• Rosemary twig
• Cranberries
directions
1. Prepare glass as follows: Ice glass for a minute or two, then sugar the rim with a red-colored sugar and white sugar combo.
2. Ice the above liquids in a shaker and shake; then strain into the glass.
3. Garnish with rosemary twig and cranberries on a toothpick.

Serves 1
ingredients
• 1.5 oz FirGIN
• 1 oz White cranberry juice
• Plain seltzer
directions
1. Pour the FirGIN and white cranberry juice into a frozen glass from the freezer./p>
2. Top with plain seltzer.
3. Garnish with rosemary twig and cranberries.

Serves 1
ingredients
• 1 oz Concord grape–infused gin
• 1 oz Campari
• 1 oz Method Spirits Vermouth
• Orange peel twist
directions
1. Combine the above liquids.
2. Add a large ice cube
3. Garnish with an orange twist.
