<p><span><span class=\"fsl\">Let the boat building commence! Get your man made boat ready for the New Paltz Regatta being held on Sunday, May 1st. Boats will be judged in several categories including fastest, most original, most likely to sink, etc Register your craft for $20 at The Village Hall or at newpaltz.ny.net/regatta/ <br /> <br /> The boat parade will begin at the Village Hall at 1PM, and the boat race will begin between 2 and 2:30PM. Don\'t forget about Family of New Paltz\'s Rubber Ducky Race which will take place shortly after the parade. Festivities in New Paltz that day will include music by Sonando , followed by Snowbear and food and children\'s activities by the Woodcrest Community.
