A delicious tradition returns to the Hudson Valley this September with the 25th Annual Taste of New Paltz, to be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. at the Ulster County Fairgrounds on 249 Libertyville Road, New Paltz, NY. Advance admission is only $7 and admission on the day of the Taste is $10; children 12 and under are admitted free! $2 and $3 “tastes” are offered at each of the food and beverage venues. Advance admission wristbands may be purchased online at tasteofnewpaltz.com, at the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce office at 257 Main Street, New Paltz or by calling the chamber at 845-255-0243. They can be mailed, picked-up at the Chamber, or the event. Advance discounted sales are available until Friday, September 18, 2015.
The Hudson Valley’s renowned wine, cuisine and agricultural bounty are on display with Taste of New Paltz, the flavorful annual opportunity to sample some of the best mouth-watering fare from the region’s finest restaurants, bakeries, caterers, farm markets, brew masters, and wineries all in a single day.
While food is the primary focus of the event, it also offers a variety of fun activities for the whole family, including Hudson Valley Wine & Beer, free kids activities, wellness & recreation, classic cars, crafts, fashion show and live entertainment by The Blues Sky Duo, Darrick Kenny Band, Soulia & The Sultans and The Pleasers!
This event is the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce’s major fundraiser of the year. Proceeds benefit the Chamber (a 501c6 not for profit organization) and its community projects.
