Singer, songwriter, storyteller, guitarist and gypsy Jill Sobule will appear in concert at Unison Arts Center on Friday, June 19th.

Over seven albums and nearly two decades of recording, the Denver-born singer has mused on topics such as the death penalty, anorexia, shoplifting, reproduction, the French resistance movement, adolescence and the Christian right.

The New York Times wrote, "Jill Sobule can claim her place among the stellar New York singer-songwriters of the last decade. Topical, funny and more than a little poignant . . . grown up music for an adolescent age."

This irreverent, lyrical songstress is best known for her chart-busting hits "I Kissed a Girl" (the original) and "Supermodel."

Tickets are $24 in advance ($20 for Unison members) and $26 at the door ($22 members). Students are half price with a valid ID.

Tickets can be purchased online at unisonarts.org or by calling 845-255-1559.
