“Shorts & Sweets for Valentines” coming to Roscoe
Are you looking forward to Valentine’s Day? Excited? Unfazed? Meh? Come to Roscoe the evening before when the Livingston Manor-Roscoe Library presents Big Sky Productions in “Shorts & Sweets for Valentines,” and enjoy something for everyone and every relationship.
On Friday, February 13, 2026 at 5:30 p.m., Big Sky’s Laure Valentine and Carol Montana will entertain you with a program of short stories, anecdotes and jokes featuring the theme of romantic love, friendship and companionship. Bring a date, bring a friend, bring both!
You’ll also enjoy sweet treats and beverages provided by the Livingston Manor-Roscoe Library director and trustees.
Laure Valentine is a resident of Livingston Manor who currently works at the Monticello Central School District as a Speech/Language Pathologist. She has appeared on screen in the pilot for “The Manor.” Laure loves performing for Big Sky Productions, which is where she met her honey Mike nearly 30 years ago during a production of “On Golden Pond”!
Carol Montana has a Master’s Degree in Dramatic Form and Structure from the University of Connecticut. She’s directed over 60 plays for several area theatre companies and schools. Carol has worked as a journalist, public relations director and theatrical technical director, as well as a newspaper editor. She is currently the freelance Media Manager for Action Toward Independence and Vet 2 Vet of Sullivan County.
The performance of “Shorts & Sweets for Valentines” will take place at the Roscoe Branch of the Livingston Manor-Roscoe Library at 85 Highland Ave, Roscoe, NY. Registration is suggested at lmr-library.org, but walk-ins are always welcome. Admission is free!
