River Findings at CREATE offsite Hudson Amtrak Gallery, displays drawings of objects found on old town dump sites on the banks of the Hudson River. Through meticulously searching for, collecting and depicting the ordinary and discarded, Maeve McCool sheds light on the impact of waste in the environment. Maeve McCool is a visual artist based in Catskill, NY, working in drawing, painting, and sewing. She received her BA in Fine Art and Art History from the Corcoran College of Art and Design at the George Washington University and exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in the Hudson Valley and throughout the US.
