The Saugerties Lighthouse is the only lighthouse accessible from land. Visitors can walk out to the lighthouse on the half-mile nature trail. The gentle trail travels among stands of willow and cottonwood trees, along tidal pools, and through patches of wildflowers, eventually opening onto the middle of the majestic Hudson River.
