From the Ground Up is a curriculum-based wellness initiative centered around the garden and committed to nutrition, better food in schools, environmental awareness, sustainability and community. FTGU Goals: Educate students and enrich school curriculum. Improve student nutrition, health & well-being. Promote environmental awareness and sustainability. Provide community outreach. Connect students with the land and the agricultural community. Create an economically viable wellness model for other schools and institutions.
