
Paul Pines’s latest collection, Fishing on the Pole Star, won the Adirondack Literary Award. Aside from his ten books of poetry, he has published a novel, The Tin Palace, based up his experiences owning a legendary jazz bar on the Lower East Side in the seventies, and a memoir, My Brother’s Madness. He works as a psychotherapist in Glens Falls and hosts the annual Lake George Jazz Weekend.
In the nineties Will Nixon was a special correspondent for the Adirondack Explorer.
