Partricia Eakins is the author of The Hungry Girls and Other Stories, about which Robert Coover wrote “a genuinely original, beautiful, and disturbing work of art,” and The Marvelous Adventures of Pierre Baptiste.
Bertha Rogers is a poet, artist, translator, and an educator; she is also the Poet Laureate of Delaware County. She is the Founding Director and Editor of Bright Hills Press and Word Thursdays. From 1999 to 2001 she served on the Literature Panel of the New York State Council on the Arts. She has published many books of poetry, including a translation of Beowulf.
John Miller has written for Natural History, Audubon, and New York Times magazines about beavers, lampreys, pigeons, and other animals while teaching inner city high school students in Manhattan.
