A literary event! These award-winning poets work their magic in the Library’s Main Reading Room. Matthew J. Spireng of Lomontville won The Bluestem Poetry Award for Out Of Body. Bostonian Joshua Coben won the Texas Review Press Prize for his first book, Maker of Shadows, chosen by X. J. Kennedy, who said “The poems are wonderfully fresh…” Emmy-nominated poet, filmmaker, and writer Daniel Wolff lives in Nyack. He has published poetry in Paris Review, Partisan Review, and Three Penny Review. He is the author of books on Bruce Springsteen, Sam Cooke, and Negro League baseball. His new book is The Fight Of Birds.
