The SUNY Ulster Theatre Summer Institute welcomes high school students to our beautiful Stone Ridge campus for a 10 day immersion into theatre and performance! This two week intensive is designed for current high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors, led by faculty, guest artists and graduated teaching assistants. Students will participate in energetic classes, create their own monologue, shake it out with shakespeare, and collaborate on a brand new play written inside the class
for an invited showcase at the institute's conclusion! The Institute is for students interested in learning more about theatre performance and production. With a dynamic, engaging, talented and caring faculty, the SUNY Ulster Theatre Institute could make this the best summer ever!
The emphasis is on having fun and enjoying our beautiful natural surroundings while learning!
