13th Annual Saugerties Artists Studio Tour
Dates: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 14, 15 & 16, 2015
Place: Artists’ Reception at Opus 40, Saugerties, and open studios at independent artists’ studios throughout the Town of Saugerties
Art comes in all media and styles, and Saugerties has whatever you’re looking for. Forty artists working with a wide variety of materials that include the expected and unexpected, will open their doors for a free tour on August 15 and 16. You can see examples of their work at www.saugertiesarttour.com, then pick up one of our maps, and plan your visits to the studios of your choice for an up-close look into their creative lifestyles and processes.
Maps will be available starting in mid-July and can be picked up at the Saugerties Tourist Information Booth (Rte. 212 across from the Northbound NYS Thruway entrance) and Smith Hardware, 227 Main St., and other area business locations. See our website for listings.
For a real preview of the art on the Tour, come to the opening of our group show on Friday, August 14th, 5 – 7 p.m. at The Gallery at Opus 40, 50 Fite Road, Saugerties, NY. All of our events are free and open to the public. Opus 40 and some of the studios are handicap accessible.
