Pooh Kaye/Eccentric Motions
Pooh Kaye presents an evening of rare archival dance documents from “Pooh Kaye/Eccentric Motions” including un-cut materials from Pooh Kaye’s documentary in progress, “Four Women in a Tree” funded by the Pew Foundation at Green Kill on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 8 PM. $10 at the door or on Eventbrite.com. See early and recent docs of Dance Greats, Anna Halprin, and Simone Forti. Documents from Eccentric Motions archives including documentation of Jennifer Monson, Brian Moran, Mark Dendy, Pooh Kaye, Ginger Gillespie, Yvonne Meier, Yoshiko Chuma. The evening will include excerpts from the dances that accompanied the films followed by a talk with dancers, Robin Simmonds ( Active Graphics), and Ariane Mertz ( The Painted Princess).
