Andrew Faust will lead a Permaculture workshop focusing on home and garden at Unison Arts Center on Sunday, June 14th from 10am-3pm.
In this workshop, students will learn how to design their own home and communities with permaculture principles and design methods. Topics to be discussed include organic gardening, building with local natural materials, ecological lawn, meadow, stream and wetland care, orchards, composting, off the grid water and energy systems and ecological woodlot management, pollinator habitats, rotational grazing for domestic animals and holistic wildlife management.
Andrew Faust is a leading Permaculture educator. His passionate and visionary presentations and curriculum are often considered life changing. He lived off the grid for 8 years and built a Permaculture inspired homestead.
The cost of the all-day workshop is $60. Participants are asked to bring a bagged lunch.
