Over Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12, Ramapo for Children will welcome the return of its annual Friends and Family Weekend event (also known as Eat, Play, Give!), held at Camp Ramapo in Rhinebeck, New York. The event, designed for all ages, will include catered meals, arts and crafts, live music, ropes courses, zip-lining, swimming, waterslides, canoeing, and more.
For a limited time, Ramapo is offering local residents a 50 percent discount on Saturday day passes and overnight tent passes. With the discount, Saturday day passes are $30 per person and include lunch, dinner and all activities, and overnight tent passes are $40 per person and include a dedicated space for a guest’s own tent, lunch, dinner, Sunday breakfast, and all activities. Tickets can be purchased by visiting EPG2016.eventbrite.com and the discount will be applied by using promo code HV50. The discount is applicable only for online ticket purchases made by June 8.
All proceeds from the event will help to maintain and grow Ramapo’s work on behalf of vulnerable children and young adults through programs that include: summer camp, school-year retreats, the Staff Assistant Experience transition-to-independence program, and workshops to support teachers and parents.
