The Marist College Dance Team will be hosting ”Kick up your Heels for a Good Cause”, a country line dancing fundraiser to benefit Marist English Professor, Nicholas Wright. Professor Wright is currently battling Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare primary bone cancer usually affecting children, adolescents and people in their 30’s. He is currently undergoing cancer treatment at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Fun kicks off Friday, November 6, 2015 at 9:00 pm and concludes at 11:30 pm. Tickets are $5.00 for Marist students and $10.00 for Staff, Faculty and General Public. Tickets are $10.00 at the door of the McCann Center, Marist College campus. Premiere Entertainment will be providing music and line dancing instruction.
All proceeds will be donated to Professor Wright to assist with medical costs.
