In January 2015, Woodstock-based artist Claire Lambe began a portrait project entitled, “Community,” at the Woodstock Library. Her intention was that the portraits should be painted as much as possible from life. Also on view at Oriole 9 will be the landscapes of Lynne Friedman. Both artists share a love of colour and of square canvases.
