This event will benefit Cragsmoor’s Bear Hill Nature Preserve . Opening ceremony 2pm. Games for kids and the young-at-heart, include arm wrestling, a golf chipping contest, badminton, tug of war, pin the bear on the garbage and more. Special contest events include: Best Dressed Musical Mowers at 4pm; Best Ankles Contest, at 5pm; and Artistic Picnic Hamper Contest (the most creative presentation and tastiest food), at 6pm. The games, contests and swimming pool $1 each entry. Pool with lifeguard open 3-5pm. Best of all is a penny social raffle (tickets $5, $10 $20) with prizes created by Hudson Valley and Cragsmoor artists. Eats and libations all day. PLENTY OF FREE PARKING
