Hudson Valley Rose Bed and Breakfast is nestled at the foot of the Catskills in Upstate New York, about 70 miles from New York City. The B&B is set in a picturesque and elegant 1847 Georgian stone house that sits amongst more than 60 acres of farm, pasture and woodland. For more than 170 years, the pastures were nursed, fruit and nut trees cultivated, and animals reared around the country farm. Over the decades, improvements were made to the impeccable estate, including a beautiful enclosed wooden nook overlooking the horse pasture and two romantic cottages fashioned from 18th- and 19th-century barn wood. As you approach the inn, you will be greeted by a tree-lined driveway where fields of rye, sorghum or corn greets you to the left and the horses graze to your right. Nature envelopes your surroundings and urges you to look around and spot the lush wildlife and planted gardens. There are four unique accommodation options on the estate: the beautiful Ashley Room with a rustic exposed stone bathroom wall; the handsome Wilkison Suite with wonderful timber ceiling beams and an adjoining sitting room; the elegant Clarkson Room with a luxurious freestanding air-jet tub; and the very private Manchester Cottage lovingly crafted from reclaimed 18th- and 19th-century barn wood. All the rooms come with an en-suite bathroom and quality amenities.
