John Jeffreys of JRJ Photography will be presenting a course for beginning photography enthusiasts. The course will be held from 10am to 2pm and cover the basics of photography. The subjects covered will be the technical aspects of dslr camera capabilites that are universal between different brands such as: What is ISO, Aperture, Shutters speed? What lense should you get? What is the difference between a snapshot and a photograph? The goal is to allow attendees to use this knowledge to move away from automatic settings in a strategic manner. The basics of wildlife, macro, portraiture and landscape will be used to give context to the basics discussed. Mistakes and improvements made based on those will be presented to give examples of how to uses. Attendees are encouraged to bring their cameras and manuals.
The course fee will be $100 or $75 if payment is made two weeks previous to the course date.
